We are a third and fourth generation family bakery established in E St Louis in 1919. We offer a full line of family recipe items. We have rye, cream, and specialty breads. We also offer scratch baked decorated cakes with our own special buttercream. Stollens, strudels, donuts, danish, cookies, coffee cakes, peanut cake, and of course gooey butter!

The Gooey Butter cake, I was hooked the first time I tried it back in 1982 when my college roomate Ken Kruta, brought one back to school. Hands down my favorite pastry on the planet.
I moved to Texas 20 years ago. But any time I'm home, I always hit Kruta's Bakery.
Everything is great!!! Before I retired I would take pastries to work in stl and they went crazy over them.
Everything they do is great. I have people visit from out of town who want to go there every day because they don't have anything this good where they live.
