We are a third and fourth generation family bakery established in E St Louis in 1919. We offer a full line of family recipe items. We have rye, cream, and specialty breads. We also offer scratch baked decorated cakes with our own special buttercream. Stollens, strudels, donuts, danish, cookies, coffee cakes, peanut cake, and of course gooey butter!

We have a co-worker visiting from Chicago and he offered to bring donuts in. He was going to go through a national chain donut shop but we told him if he wanted the best to go to Kruta’s. He has considered transferring to our lab and now that he tried Kruta’s donuts and gooey butter cake he was so impressed that he’s checking housing prices in the area.
BEST EVER! I miss this place dearly, and the staff was always top notch! oh, and Pauls kinda great too.
Never bought something I didn't like. Always order there for special occasions. They are always trying new recipes!
