We are a third and fourth generation family bakery established in E St Louis in 1919. We offer a full line of family recipe items. We have rye, cream, and specialty breads. We also offer scratch baked decorated cakes with our own special buttercream. Stollens, strudels, donuts, danish, cookies, coffee cakes, peanut cake, and of course gooey butter!

Local, small, family business for 100 year. BEST gooey-butter cake in the mid-west! I have people put in special orders to pick up for them when I am heading out of town. Wonderful business!

Been going to this bakery for many years- our dad, Ralph Ramseier, would take off early in am -from Mt Olive- to be there as soon as it opens- the line forms fast! He would bring home all kinds of goodies - mine is chocolate Chip cookies- my son loves the brownies - my husband loves the cherry anything lol- it was a staple for all holidays ❤️ Krutas’ is a special part of our holidays and our memories with our dad ❤️ thank you
