My wife and I live on the other side of town so we hadn't been to Krispys in a while. Today we were craving some good fried chicken and knew where to go. As always we were very happy with the food and service. I've read a couple of bad reviews on this page and it's hard to believe they are talking abou the same place. We even took a good friend with us once that was here visiting from Great Bend. He loved it so much he told us that Krispy's was going to be a tradition for whenever he comes.
I walked in today shortly after 11:00 am and ordered the 2 piece white meat fried chicken to go. The girl at the counter looked back at the huge pile of fried chicken and told me she could not sell me fried chicken. She then told me I'd have to order something else. I said wait, there's a big pile of chicken there and you won't sell it to me? She said no, I can't, you have to order something else. I left and got my lunch at Quick Trip. I have no idea why she wouldn't sell the chicken.
Customer service is not too friendly. They couldn't get the order right. And the food is nothing like it was the day they open. I wish they go back to how it was when they first open. The food was great then.

When Krispys first came to Derby their food was so good. Really great Chicken Fried Steaks and Chicken. However the last few times we have gone the food tastes dried out and the chicken fried steaks are like the cheap frozen ones. Krispys, go back to your good cooking or you may just go out of business. I would hate to see that.

We discovered that our new cooks were over cooking some of the food and causing them to taste dry. We have retrained them and this should not happen again. Who the hell closes at 8 PM on a Saturday night? On Memorial Day weekend? If you're only going to be open for lunch, just close at 5. If you're going to be open for dinner, close at 10, at the earliest. Not all of us are senior citizens.
Best chicken in Wichita! Nice people! Had the chicken and waffles! Fried Mac and cheese was amazing too!
Food is okay. Not really much of a sit-down restaurant.
