They are the epitome of sleazy, dishonest used car people. This dealer over charged my naive young daughter by about $15,000 for a used SUV (Kelly Blue Book and Carfax price comparison). She went to this dealership on her own, without any parental guidance and they totally took advantage of her. Instead of treating her with respect they did the opposite and disrespected her. They are nothing more than vultures and predators and should be avoided at all costs. ZERO STARS !!!
I'm a handicapped person who has a Toyota Sienna van. I religiously took it to Koons Toyota Tysons for service. I even bought their service plan for 3 years. Everytime I went they would delay and I will have to wait for hours in my wheelchair. They will do unnecessary service (example 24000 mile service when the van had only 17000 miles etc) because I don't drive the vehicle often and it has/had only low mileage. Horrible customer service! Dealing with a bunch of rip-off artists! Pushy, without too much of a selection! These people are very shady! They tell you one thing at first, then come back and lie as if they think you're stupid. If you are going to buy a car from here trust me you will have a lot of headaches and they will play on your nerves. If I could choose no stars, I would have. My family has been a customer of Koons Tysons Toyota since 2001 and we have bought several cars over the years from them. After this year's experience we will NEVER buy from them again. One of the most disjointed, unorganized, deceiving, dehumanizing, and frustrating car buying experiences I have ever had the displeasure of withstanding. Terrible. Let me give some background. Late last year, I purchased a car from Koons (or rather my bank did, since I'm financing). Several things- 1) Whenever I needed anything, it would be a HASSLE trying to find the right person to get the job DONE. They would make up excuses, and not find the correct answer to questions before attempting to pacify me, and send me off. Bought my Car on Nov. 10th, test drove it and everything was perfect. They took it around back to fill it up with gas while I signed my paper work. I drove it off the parking lot and the tire pressure light came on as well as a digital read saying "Check fuel cap" then the check engine light came on soon after the message disappeared. I turned around, came back, they quickly did something to reset everything and said that the gas cap needs to be tightened only one click. Or the alert will happened. After a really great experience with my salesperson, the (certified) vehicle was delivered with several defects, including body damage that they apparently hadn't seen when they certified the vehicle. After making three separate appointments, each time I arrived the person I was scheduled to see wasn't available and they said no techs were available and told me I had to come back another day.
