Another wonderful lunch at Kool Beans today. The seared salmon with salsa casera, guacamole and chipotle white beans was so good. That salsa is amazing! The mojo chicken never disappoints. What a lovely lunch with friendly intelligent staff. Our only regret is that the two hour drive one way from Apalachicola means we don't get here near often enough. ❤️

Wonderfully good food. Extemely gracious staff. Welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger. All cooked fresh to your liking and your dietary requirements. Perfect place to relax with good friends over a glass of wine or a cup of tea (my preference) or coffee. The genius desserts are nationally recognized, as is Sylvia their humble and brilliant culinary creator. Don't miss this Tallahassee Treasure!

VETERANS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The owner of Kool Beans has no qualms about embarrassing disabled vets in public and telling them "you aren't even disabled" without bothering to learn that the vet is a nationally known spokesperson for PTSD and listed in searchable databases for lung damage from toxic fumes exposure. Instead the owner will explain that his wife is a therapist so apparently he knows what disabilities look like.
