We are in the middle of a pandemic and half of the staff had their masks around their necks. Even the doctor had his off while talking to other staff with no masks on standing less than two feet away from each other. I had to ask the technician to disinfect the equipment before I would put my face to it. Dr did not wash his hands or use sanitizer at any time front desk told me to wait in my car when I got there and they would call me when they were ready. Fair enough except they never called. Diana, we are sorry you had a poor experience. Let us know if you we can help you in the future. As far as wearing of masks and cleaning, we do that before and after each patient. Masks are only of benefit when in close proximity and brief encounters. Good luck.
I used to love going here to see Dr. Chang. However, he was rude and wouldn't listen to me. He said I had diabetes and I told him I was hypoglycemic, he argued with me about it the entire time he was in the exam room. I have Lupus and I take meds that can effect my eyes. I needed glasses because I have a hard time driving and reading. I left with a referral to another dr, no prescription and in tears. He was more worried about my weight than my darn eyes!!!! I will not recommend him any longer
Horrible experience. Left very frustrated. Stated multiple times during the visit that I was unable to see any of the charts clearly. Definitely do not recommend this office. Staff was unfriendly. Doctor spent minimal time with me.
If patient needs rx rechecked, you should make it easy to get back in for an appointment instead of trying to discourage patients from coming back in.
Beware - when you schedule an office visit, they will charge you not only for exam, they will also charge you for a 'fitting,' and not tell you there is this additional charge. In addition, when calling to question the charges, they stated there was nothing that could be done. Then they hung up on me. I called again and they were reviewing with their manager and hung up on me again. The third time I called back no one would answer the phone... Very relaxed atmosphere which is good if you’re like me. I had such bad anxiety about going to the eye doctor that I hadn’t been in 5 years! A friend recommended them to me, and I’m so glad I went! In and out in 30 minutes, plus a follow up appointment a week later to make sure my contacts were right for me.
