I normally love kona but today there was an African American server standing across the bar from us twisting his hair over. And over and over and over. Multiple times throughout our entire meal. I told my gf just wait I bet he doesn’t wash his hands and picks up plates from the kitchen to run them to a table. Good environment, great food, excellent service. The server Tanner was very courteous, kind and respectful.
I am a bit of a food snob, especially about sushi. Wesley gave us attentive service, while allowing us to feel unhurried in our enjoyment of the meal. The voodoo roll, made by Chef Carlos, was, by far, the best and most perfectly cut piece of tuna I have ever eaten. If someone is looking to try sushi for the first time, this is the place to come. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.
We had a great time tonight. The food was excellent and the service was ok. What I thought was odd is they made our party of 7 move a table over if we wanted to order off the happy hour menu. I found that very bazaar when the half we were on was completely empty 🤷🏼♀️
