We had a great experience at Kolar. Shannon Smith was very helpful. She was knowledgeable and accommodating but not pushy. They beat everyone on price, even the Twin Cities' dealerships. Our new Prius is great and fits our needs just right.
I will give a 5* review for the sales and service we have always had. We just purchased a 2016 RAV4 Limited and that deal went smoothly with the help of Steve Fresacher. We had a trade in and felt they gave us a good $ on that. I am still feeling a bit uncertain about purchasing the extended warranty, but all that technology kind of scares me. If something goes wrong it would be costly. I do have to say that I felt a bit of pressure to purchase that and then my husband just kept saying "it's up to you." I caved.
It started with a great service department that took care of my daughters car. It continued with great service from Todd and I drove away with a new truck. I will be back to replace another car at the end of the year. For me Kolar has done everything my local dealer can't do and that's to provide outstanding service. Thank you and looking forward to doing more business with you.
I just purchased a new 2016 hybrid highlander at Kolar Duluth. Shannon Smith was my sale person and she was absolutely wonderful to deal with. She was not pushy, good attitude, very honest and just fun working with her. She made my experience so much better then any other dealership in the area. My wife Lori and I just bought our third toyota from salesman Jim Mcmillion. One Hylander and two RAV4s. Kolar and Jim have always treated us fairly and the experience has always been good. This time around I did not even shop around as I wanted to work with Jim and I really appreciate what Kolar does for the ALS blizzard tour and walleye tournament! In three years I'll be back to see him. I hope he does not retire.

Excellent sales and service!! I just traded in my leased Rav4, and leased a brand new 2016 Corolla S Plus from Kolar Toyota in Duluth. Mark Larson was the salesperson, and he was fast, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Kolar to anyone in the market for an new car. In the next few days, I hope to share a nightmare with all who might be interested about an experience my wife and I had at a car dealership in Duluth. We experienced a very unethical salesperson who deceived us into signing a lease agreement before we had a chance to read it!
