They are always very patient and take time.
Dr Akerman was very compassionate. She explained everything, and took her time with answering my questions. The office staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. They were the only podiatrist office out of 3 phone calls that worked me in this week to prevent me going to the ER with an infected in-grown toe nail. I'm so very grateful and not in any pain now.
I was taken back for my appointment within a few minutes of signing in. The medical assistant immediately entered the room and discerned my needs for the visit. Dr. Akerman is very knowledgeable in her discipline and allows for time to express all concerns. I have been a patient of hers for over ten years and will continue to do so.

I waited almost an hour after my appointment to see Dr. Akerman. After a few moments in the room with me and her looking at my x-rays, she said my issue could be "this" or "related to this", but couldn't tell for certain. Then told me I needed a shot and equipment they sold in their office, with no explanation as to why I needed either, or what other treatment options were. After the shot she pretty much said here's some stretches, call us back if you need another shot.
Dr Akerman was thorough, patient, and understanding. She explains thing that are easy to understand and sets perfect expectations. I am so thankful for her and her staff that made this process easy!
First time visit and I will be sending my other family members here for treatment. Doctor Akerman is very thorough and kind.
