I made the mistake of having a surgical procedure in Marin County. The surgery was ineffective and actually worsened the pain. I then consulted with Dr. Olson who performed surgery on the same foot. What a difference! Dr. Olson and her staff are compassionate, responsive and simply fantastic! I have the utmost faith in her capabilities and have referred others to her. I would never consider going elsewhere.
Dr. Olson did an excellent job on my foot. 3 tendons, 2 bones. A successful outcome. Dr. Olson was clear, kind and competent, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
Dr. Olson is an amazing surgeon! I was born with an extra bone in my arch which was causing extremely painful tendonitis, and causing my already flat foot to collapse. She transformed my foot from a collapsing, painful, extremely flat foot, to an upright, pain-free normal foot (removed accessory navicular bone and performed calcaneal osteotomy). Dr. Olson and her entire staff at UCSF are extremely professional and have provided excellent care! I highly recommend Dr, Olson!
Dr. Olson redid a surgery that never healed in my foot from 2014. She immediately was willing to redo this difficult surgery and made sure that not only that it was done correctly and worked this time, but she also protected me and gave me the extra time off so I would heal properly. My entire experience this time at UCSF with her was an A+, compared to a D at the University of Chicago Med CTR. I am beyond grateful for her care, brilliance and compassion.
