Today was a very busy day at Kirkwood with thousands of additional people who came up for the day both from the Bay Area and Lake Tahoe to enjoy the recently fallen snow here.I was really thrilled to be able to get to ski at the resort today and wish to thank all the parking staff for all their hard work in finding parking spots for all of us at the last minute and to all the cooks for making all those hamburger and hot dog lunches throughout the day for all the hungry skiers and snowboarders.The staff really did a great job... read more
Yes - in many ways the quality experience has gone downhill since Vail took over - heck - it's been doing downhill since Tim Cohee left - but the mountain is still amazing........There is no better skiing anywhere around Tahoe - and it is still much better than most properties in other states as well! But prices have sky rocketed - services reduced - restrictions imposed on us - I'd love to hear a response on this page from Vail!
