Kirkwood hasn't changed in 15 years, that's a good and a bad thing. I wish there would be more infrastructure investment, lift upgrades, more and better places to eat but otherwise it remains MY FAVORITE TAHOE RESORT ... friendly people, best snow, awesome terrain. Please invest some money Vail and I'll give you 5 stars, till then 4 stars because of the location and the people here.
Five stars from start to finish. Shuttles, lifts, staff and cross country trails were fabulous! Our group had expert skiers, great snowboarders and seasoned snowshoers/cross country skiers and everyone had an excellent time.
Nice terrain! Fun to ride the fixed grips! I really like the way the lift layout and there is terrain suited for everybody.
Stunningly beautiful, really friendly staff and customers. It even had a footrest...in the Tahoe area!! I love the terrain. Lots of steep and advanced skiing. Too bad so many of the chairs are fixed, slow chairs.
Always has the best snow! Keeps me coming back and back and back!
