Been sking at Kirkwood for 38 years. I 've never been dissapointed.Always the best snow and beautiful drive from Sacramento/Stockton Areas
Love how this is a smaller ski resort therefore less crowded than others I have visited in California. My partner is a season ticket holder and I am seriously considering doing the same for next season. The staff is pretty chill and the avalanche dogs definitely add to the fun atmosphere. The super cozy 7800 Bar & Grill has great mac 'n cheese and drinks too!
Great mountain. Excellent terrain and facilities. Only downside is they need a better system for demo rentals. Waited in what was not a "long" line but the process took the better part of 45 min to get rentals. I will say, the staff was very helpful and friendly which helped a lot.
KIRKWOOD SUCK! I LOVE ICE & RAIN ! & I DISLIKE POWDER! & THE LIFT LINES YESTERDAY SUCKED TOO!
The mountain excellent. It would be nice to see and realize some chairlift upgrades from the ownership corporation.
