I wished I had all the same answers as up above. After recent research I’ve noticed I wasn’t given info about before during or after surgery. They don’t accept insurances including PPO’s. But an office member was in my room for my consultation with a credit card pad to quickly take my large consultation fee. Staff blamed each other for not requesting more than one day hospital stay after brain surgery. I actually had to be seen by my own physician to rehydrate me, within 4 days.
Dr. King is tops in his field. He is a caring and compassionate doctor. If you need neurosurgery of any type, contact Dr. King first. He will clearly explain your condition and discuss your options. Dr. King was the only surgeon for me after my initial consultation with him. Put your health and trust in Dr. King. You won’t be disappointed.

Dr. King was the second neurosurgeon I interviewed about my tumor. He was so informative, giving me the good and the possible bad, that deciding to have him as my surgeon was easy. The week before my surgery, Dr. King had me come in for another appointment. He was exactly on time ( a first experience for me) and we went through the procedure. The day of the surgery, he met me in the lobby area at 6 AM. The surgery went perfectly as planned and I was discharged from Cedars Sinai Medical Center
Dr. King is a phenomenal neurosurgeon! After years of searching for a cause to my son's health care problems, we were referred to Dr. King and everything changed. Upon our arrival, he had already reviewed years worth of gathered medical imaging, reports, and all other pertinent medical data regarding my son. After listening to my son's description of his problems, and a thorough neurological assessment, he had a diagnosis for my son. He is now 3 months post-op and already living a new life!
We are thanking God for Dr. King! My husband and I were so shocked when we heard I had a bone tumor on my skull and had many questions that we needed answered as soon as possible. Dr. King not only scheduled an appointment within 48 hours, he called personally to answer our questions and put our minds at ease about the surgery within 24 hours. I had surgery due to Chiari Malformation complications. I felt extremely comfortable in the care of Dr. King. He and his staff go above and beyond. Great beside manner. Very knowledgeable about Chiari and how to treat it. Excellent Physician!!
