I have the machine for the knee replacement to move my knee and Matthew has been great. I had a small problem with the machine, very small. He came right out and replaced it instantly. So far I think this is a wonderful company and if you have a knee replacement, the machine that I have, Kinetix, is a wonderful machine.
This company sucks and use a bait and switch tactic to stick you with more charges than they explain to you at the hospital. They barged into my hospital room immediately after knee replacement, said I could cash pay for a cpm machine after insurance declined it, had me sign a form saying this, and the kinex representative verbally told me that we’d have the machine for 21 days @$6/day plus a $30 admin fee. Kinex is a company that has gone downhill fast. My family member rented the cold and compression machine 3 times over 8 years of surgeries. When Kenix started most surgeons felt the machine was waste of money. However, we requested the machine after a physical therapist said we should try and self paid, Medicare and most insurance do not cover the machine. They delivered and picked up, and we paid.
