RecommendedSix weeks ago tonight Terry had respiratory failure and thus began this journey. We are full of gratitude this morning and praising God for answered prayers. Terry is now off the ventilator. He made it 48 hrs so he is done with it. Yes he still has his trach mask that supports his oxygen level but he had oxygen before this so no biggie. Blood tests show his body is handling C02 levels just fine. We have happy tears today. Now he just needs a bit more time to get his strength built up and then he can come home with me. I would like to thank the entire staff of Kindred for making me feel at home and truly cared for. In the past 30 days I've had bad news after bad news but with the staff here there was never a dull moment. Only having one member of my family close the staff filled that void by just watching them and interacting with them. The nurses were all good but our favorite was Kathy S. The housekeepers were also all good and bigs thanks to Thelma. Thank you to the STNA’s for helping so much and a big thanks to Peggy and Kayla. Thank you also to DR Ukiwe and staff for taking good care of me.

The nursing staff is very friendly and professional. All my cares and needs were met in a timely manner. Even though I was on a restricted diet the food was plentiful and tasty. Management was very helpful and friendly. Can’t name all the nurses but there were many that did a fine job. Physical therapy was very patient and did a great job. Thank you to Amy and Andrea from therapy. I would highly recommend kindred for any health needs.

The staff was extremely helpful and always ready to give you what you need. The nurses and techs were always there when you pressed your button. Thanks to LV for getting me another TV for my room when mine didn't work. Thanks to Jim for being kind and helpful and being there when I needed him. Also thanks to Elaine for always being kind, having a smile and brightening up my day. Thank you to everyone they were all fantastic and helpful.
The care givers were great. Their teamwork is outstanding. The Drs are compassionate and thorough. If you ever need a long term hospital kindred is the hospital to come to. The whole dog gone place is terrific.
Thank you to the nurses and their assistance also for their expert care and personal attention. im leaving alot stronger because of kindreds staff.
