My loved on was at a Kindred previously and that kindred closed but we made the decision to come here based on our experience at Kindred town and country. The stay has been ok. They have good and bad, the weekends they seem to drop the ball. But overall the nurses are professional and caring. They are attentive to my sister's needs during the week days They have good bedside manners. We've had a couple of issues, they were addressed and still being addressed. When I was first told I had to come to kindred I said o no the plan was to go to health south. Until someone came in to explain what type of facility kindred was I was not agreeing, but one they explain and confirmed it was not a nursing home I agreed. I also had 2 friends that had been in this particular facility and they confirmed that it was a good place to go so I then knew I made the right decision.everyone here is so nice that I can not pin point any particular person that has went over and beyond the call of duty. When I was first admitted it here after leaving Memorial Hermann I was scared and uncertain and the staff and and what it would be like here. Spending time with the staff I quickly developed come Rondorey and certain level of comfort with them very quickly. My healthcare team and staff were really on the ball especially Arezoo, Monica ojo, Schelitia Toran, and if I’ve forgotten then the names my apologies. From the moment we got here everyone was very attentive to my mother’s (Maria Aguilar)needs and made us feel welcome. All of the nurses and staff are nice. There are too many to name, but, Nurse Renita, Nurse Shakirat and Nurse Abby always went above and beyond to make sure my mother was taken care of and her needs were met. I was transferred here Cypress Fairbanks Hospital. The nurses we very attentive during the process. Though i dont feel like they were prepared for my particular needs, i was brought to icu the next morning that all that changed. Nurse's seem very tuned to my needs, and want the drs to see that for sure. I would recommend.
We have been here previously and they took great care of my dad. We are here again and already the great treatment has started. I highly recommend kindred northwest.
Very friendly staff. However, bedding not changed regularly.
