Do not allow this Hospice anywhere near your love one, Brian Flanagan, MD gave my mother only 6 months to live. His diagnoses was High Blood Pressure and heart disease WITHOUT HEART FAILURE! Update, they changed the name of the company!!! I reviewed, it was Compassus, Hospice Care at St. Vincent Hospital I've never heard of Gentiva Hospice! I wanted to have a stemless transition from home care to hospice. Mother had 20% lung capacity. On the second visit from the Home care Nurse my Mother was told by the Nurse “don’t use that oxygen too much. You don’t want to become ADDICTED to it.” Next visit, again, Nurse stated “you’re not using that oxygen too much, are you?” They were trying to expedite my Mother’s health ... read more
Horrible company even worse hospice company Please protect your loved ones and do not use KINDRED HOSPICE
I have utilized this company for my grandfather (both home health and hospice) as well as for my Granny. The care was beautiful, considerate and caring. This is why I do what I do- I love helping educate and assist patients and families in what is one of the most difficult times in their lives and make it a little bit easier on them by providing resources, making sure equipment is set up in the home, and coordinating their clinical care.
