She was the consulting doctor during an emergency operation and I’ve been seeing her every 3 months, then every 6 months, and now moving into every year as follow up. She’s always been gentle, kind, listened, and even suggested follow ups if I was worried. I’ve never had to wait more than 5-7 minutes when coming in for my appointment.
I am a 61 year old triple negative cancer survivor. However October 2022 I was diagnosed with stage 3 C ovarian cancer. I received great care with surgery and chemo in British Columbia. I moved back to my home province of Nova Scotia last July to be with family. I was under the Care of the Nova Scotia cancer Center and there is where I met the most crass , empathy lacking Oncologist I have ever endured.
