Mom Frankly, I was very surprised to read the poor reviews. We've been going to Kid O Cuts for years, since it was Cookie Cutters, and have always had a good experience. Becky has been cutting our children's hair since they were toddlers. No one has ever been rude or inappropriate. To address the complaints about the First Haircut "rip off": there is an example of the "First Haircut" package at the desk. If you don't like it, don't buy it! Take your own pictures!
Terrible Service - Do not go there!!! I was charged $18 for a kids cut. Only because it was my sons first haircut. From the stylist to the woman who took my sons picture, were rude and nasty. I would never in my life go back there and I would not send my worst enemies kids there. I paid $18 for a printed out certificate for my sons first haircut. I payed it because I thought they knew how to handle kids. What a mistake.
Cookie Cutters Haircuts-Kids is lucky to have Diane The only reason I take my son there is Diane. She is wonderful. I won't let anyone else cut his hair. I had a young girl who obviously didn't like kids but she is gone now.
CONFUSED!!! Why do i keep going back here? The staff are rude both on the phone and in person, it's expensive and it takes me 30 mins to get there!! But until i find a new kid friendly place i guess i will go back. GOOD POINT: Diane is a good stylist and great wish my son (2yrs).
Okay - so so I took my three year old for her first haircut. Because it was a weekday, there was no one there. The facilities were good, the TV helped my daughter to stay still. She did want to stay longer to watch the rest of Diego. :)
Not as bad as some reviews I will admit that this is not a 5 star salon but for kids it is great - at least that is what my son (3 yrs) and daughter (2 yrs) think about it. My kids love that they get to watch a movie and have always been comfortable in the surroundings. I believe the staff listens to direction, cut quick, and do a nice job. My kids have never left with nicks or any injury and they have had a different stylist each time. Horrible Experience Everyone I came into contact with had a poor attitude. The owner may be the rudest, most unprofessional person I have ever met. The staff were short, unfriendly, and flat out rude. To top it off the place is filthy. I will never take my child back to this place. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
Terrible Experience! Do not go here! The people who work here are very rude and impatient. They have terrible attitudes. They put knicks on my son's head and he wasn't even moving around (normal for a 2-yr old). They just didn't have the patience. I have heard from SEVERAL people about horrible experiences they had here. I will NEVER return and hope you don't go there either.
A cut above the rest!
