I’m really disappointed with the service I received today. The cashier spoke to me with so much attitude and even looked at me like I was disgusting. She refused to let us dine in, even though there were clearly people already eating inside. As someone who lives in this community, it’s upsetting to feel treated this way. Girl was REALLY rude. Straight up ignored me while looking me in my eyes. Crazy honestly.
A favourite spot when I’m regent park. The first time, I did a takeout and the quality of the sashimi and sushi blew me away. Since then, Kibo is a staple for me!!! Dine in is so nice and intimate. A great spot for people who want to try to do a solo dinner or lunch.
Very disappointed with this location. The staff has been consistently unfriendly and disengaged on more than one occasion, which really takes away from the experience. The sushi also lacked freshness and didn’t come close to the quality I’ve had at other Kibo locations. If you’re craving Kibo, skip this one and head to the Parliament spot just a few minutes away—it’s a noticeable step up in both service and food quality. Edit: Got sick afterwards. The sashimi looked discolored. Would not recommend eating here.
