The food at this sushi restaurant was fantastic, with the sushi, salmon teriyaki, and shrimp tempura being particularly standout. However, the miso soup and salad were fairly basic and didn't leave much of an impression. I'll definitely be returning for the delicious food, but the atmosphere and washroom facilities didn't quite meet expectations, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. I bought a sushi roll from here through Uber Eats yesterday afternoon and noticed several pieces had brown discoloration on the salmon. I avoided eating those pieces and only ate the ones that looked okay, but still developed a stomach ache that I am still experiencing as of 11am the next day. Fresh salmon should be vibrant and consistent in color, so the appearance alone was worrying. Combined with my symptoms afterward, I’m concerned about the handling and freshness of their raw fish.
