I have been a regular at this restaurant for several years. My mother uses a wheelchair and usually visits every weekend to buy a $15 sushi roll. Until last month, the staff were incredibly kind and would come outside to assist her. However, the experience lately has been completely unacceptable. Food was good, but the experience was surprisingly frustrating. I showed up to pick up my order and realized I didn’t have a bike lock. I called to ask if someone could quickly bring the order to the door, and the answer was a flat no. It would have taken less than a minute, but instead I was left scrambling to find strangers to watch my bike. Not exactly the kind of stress you expect from a simple pickup. I ordered takeout because I wanted to pay cash because I’ve heard there’s a discount for cash payments. There was no discount which was okay but disappointing. But it might’ve been the worst sushi I’ve ever had. The sushi looked nothing like the photos or proper sushi. I ordered the spicy butterfish and the French kiss Maki.
