My wife was seriously ill with a renal stone. Dr. Shahrour was consulted and took immediate action which saved her life.
I saw Dr Shahour in followup to a hospital visit. I had a complicated case w tissue compromised by radiation. He did not believe me when I told him of my constriction issues. When I offered to have my doctor from UM talk w him about my condition, he arrogantly replied he "did not need to talk to anyone".. he "knows the urethra" better than anyone. Needless to say, I did not book my surgery with him, but went to UM where the urologist consulted with my current physician, before he even saw me.
Unprofessional. I came on time, with complete paperwork. I waited an hour and asked how much longer. I was told there was still three people ahead of me! When I made the appointment I told them I needed a timely appointment. I only have Fridays off but the doctor is only in on Wednesdays so I had no choice but to change my own patient schedule around so that I could make this appointment. The receptionist stated I would need no longer than an hour. He was very rude rather than apologetic.
