Me and my wife use to love Key west grill but the quality of food has gone way down and after eating there today for my wife's birthday we won't be going back anymore!!!
My girlfriend and I ordered what was supposed to be coconut shrimp, but it tasted like cold rubbery chicken. Her parents ordered shrimp and it too was cold and rubbery. We had a wedge salad that was horrible. Very disappointed too have spent so much money for awful food.
Went for Lunch. The server joe was horrible. He was more concerned about his phone then actually serving. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I will say that my burger was quiet good and so was the crab cake burger, that my sister-in-law had. The rice bowl and pizza not only tasted like it came out of a can but it came out cold. Not really sure if the Chef knows what flavor is or if he is trying to recreate his school lunch menu. This is our favorite spot at myrtle. Very consistent. A little pricey on some items but the service is always excellent.
Food was good but our waiter was horrible! He was very rude. We had to take our cups over to the bar to get refills. We will not go back.
This place is not worth the price at all. The food was bland, over cooked, or under cooked. Family member got shrimp and they were boarding lining rubber. My salmon seemed okay until I got food poisoning later in the day. Some items don't even have descriptions on what they are or what's in them so be careful of you have allergies. We won't be going back when we are on vacation again.
Our appetizer of garlic calamari was delicious. Their plantains are mouth watering. My Cuban chopped chicken was decent but could have used more spice like jerk to give it a kick. Caribbean fish was a tad dry but good flavor fir the most part. The waitstaff was good and the food arrived timely. Overall I enjoyed it.
Received Meals While I Was Awaiting A Drink Refill For Non-alcoholic Drink And Family Finished Their Meals Before I Got Up Walked to Bar Asked For A Coke Refill
The chicken with plantains and pineapples was missing a key ingredient-plantains. There was a plantain piece about half the size of my thumb, that's all. The pineapple was from a can, it actually looked like the pineapple tidbits from a school lunch. The flavor was terrible and it cost 15.99. Our waitress, Ikea was wonderful and we tipped her very well but we will never go back. Bad food and over priced.
