Bought a factory new Hyundai Santa Cruz in 2023 only having to watch it burn up in my driveway in March 2025 at 7:00am in the morning with the engine off. The fire totaled the car. The nightmare is that Hyundai , Mile One And Heritage all washed their hands of ANY accountability and refused to replace the vehicle. Not transparent, tried to sell a used car claiming CPO whereas it was not. The car was missing spare tire, dealership didn't want to include it. Changed the price after agreed monthly payment. Customer service is poor, sales team is bad, wastes time to keep customer in dealership. Definitely not recommended for car buying.
DO NOT TRUST A SINGLE WORD FROM THE FINANCE MANAGER AT THIS DEALERSHIP!! When I purchased my vehicle in 2022, I was explicitly told I was buying a lifetime maintenance plan. I even paid over $3,000 for it—only to find out during my 30,000-mile service visit that the plan was completely used up and no longer valid. So what did I actually pay for? Yesterday, 7/2/25, we had a done deal on a truck, confirmed as a sale and were so happy! We got dressed and headed towards Memphis. In transit we were informed that the truck was being driven by Mr X, and later said the truck was sold! We sadly turned around and came home to find out the truck had been listed for extra $500 and was still for sale. Sales staff made mistake and LIED!!!!! These people are crooks and will sell their integrity right out from under you. STAY CLEAR-CROOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My initial purchase of a 2022 Hyundai Palisade from Platinum Hyundai of Tracy was unremarkable. However it's the follow up that's really lacking. Back in April 2025 I traded in the Palisade for a more fuel economic car. I had purchased and extended warranty, so was owed a reimbursement on the residual. I filled out the paperwork, turned it into Platinum Hyundai and was told it would be resolved quickly. I've been exchanging emails with them since April now. I've tried calling, which is a joke. I rarely leave negative reviews, but the experience I had with this dealership was, by far, the worst customer service I've ever encountered. Northwest Hyundai is easily the most dishonest and fraudulent dealership I’ve ever encountered. We showed up to buy a vehicle we found on their website—what a joke. The car was filthy inside, complete with someone else’s bags and a hairbrush. It hadn't even been cleaned. On top of that, it had 800 more miles than what was listed online. Even worse?
