Dr Shimizu has been our family dentist for 20 years. His staff is friendly and efficient. Never cause us to wait very long. He has helped us through Many a “Tooth crisis” He does a great job on any work we need. And always can be found in an emergency, He has been very good with our grandson also. From the time he was a little guy, the n now as a teenager..I recommend him for any dental work.
I was impressed with the care, professionalism and cleanliness. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They were anxious to answer any questions I had and clearly only want to suggest treatment that is needed. The doctor was very attentive and listened to my concerns
My first visit was just seamless since transitioning from Indianapolis. It felt like I was back with my former dentist in Indy whom I had for 19 years. All apprehensions we’re gone and the staff handled our new retirement insurance situation with ease. I have return appointment scheduled for dental work and who says they’re looking forward to going? I guess I am!

Dr Shimizu as usual did an excellent job on my crown that needed to be re-bonded. Vanessa the new hygienist did an excellent job cleaning my teeth and advised on how to minimize stains on my teeth.
Vanessa in Dr. Shimizu's office performed my cleaning. They are fastidious about safety, asking patients to call when they are in the parking lot and asking pre-screening questions to make sure we are feeling healthy and not showing any signs of infection. She came out to my car and brought me into the office and checked my temperature. Everyone in the office was masked and I only removed mine when I was seated and ready to have my cleaning. Thank you to the office staff, hygienists and Dr. Shimizu for taking all the precautions and making your patients feel safe. Masks worn by all, temperature taken, no one in the waiting room, hand sanitizer given, and shields on the hygienist. All appreciated as I was feeling very nervous going to this appointment. Dr. Shimizu and his staff did an excellent job making me feel safe during my visit. They had me stay outside until it was my turn. They then brought me in and took my temperature. Everything was super clean and the staff all had their protective gear on. Thank you for doing things right!

After years of having Bernie clean my teeth, I was so sad to have to have a new hygienist when Bernie decided to take a leave. I met Komi and was very pleased - she is very sweet and personable as well as skilled so I’m happy that the change wasn’t traumatic! I still miss Bernie but feel that I will be able to build up a similar rapport with Komi!
