Very kind, informative, and friendly. I live in the neighborhood and was so excited to see Kenton Animal Hospital as a new vet option here. Didn't know what to expect, but just had one of the best and most chill vet visits I've ever had. The dog was the least nervous I've ever seen her too. So happy. Also excited to have traditional medicine, but also options for herbal treatments and acupuncture for my senior fuzz-face goofball dog.
Ever since I moved to pdx 10 years ago, I've struggled with finding the right vet, especially after the retirement of Dr. Mary at St Johns. I've tried several others, but hands down was very pleased with Dr Lindsay, Heidi and the space, which is very Kenton. Since I work close by (Sweet Science Boxing), too, it's a great location. Welcome! Oh, and Smitty did his signature lean-in entrapment so, now they are part of his tribe.
I can not express how pleased I am with my visit today with my buddy Duke! We received attentive, caring and interested care and actually had an in depth conversation about my dog's allergy history. I swear, the vet tech alone spent more time with my dog than any vet in the past two years. We are so glad to have a compassionate & passionate vet in the neighborhood and we will be making them our permanent go to. I can not recommend these gals highly enough, both in service and cost. I've worked personally with Drs. Graf and Thurwachter and I trust them absolutely to care for my own pets. Their facilities are clean, up to date, and they offer a variety of treatment options that will show you that they understand the needs of our loved ones.
The doctors and staff made my Diesel Boy feel right at home. The exam room was so comfortable for him with a rug and everything. He got lots of doggy treats and didn't want to leave after his blood draw! We will defiantly be bringing the rest of our fur babies to this hospital!
