As a bonus for work by boss got me a really nice Specialized mtb, so nice I needed a professional build. I'm also pretty new to mountain biking so I had a lot of questions about all the fancy things this bike came with. Cody at Ken's was enthusiastic and helped with all my questions. He also recommended some great additions to the bike to help keep safe, like inserts to protect the carbon wheels. Never any pushy sales though. Ken's Bicycle Warehouse was sold to new owners in the past 12 months or so, and they have turned out to be excellent salesman, and Mechanics. I bought two E-Bikes from them recently, and have been fully satisfied with the fine workmanship, and customer service. I believe the new owners will be able to keep the reputation as excellent, in both Sales and Service. Kodie, the new manager is doing an excellent job, and will do his best to make you a good deal, with great service.
Edit from a 2017 experience. Went in to buy some sealant and look at the specialized ebikes since I wanted one. Looked around and was bummed at how disorganized the shop had become. Bought my first Bike from Ken's in early 2000s so I was bummed to see how the new ownership was going. Parts all over the ground when they could of been hanging back on the wall, and customer service was the same.
