Horrible. Dont see her. She is not focused on her patients. She doesnt listen
I agree with other peoples experience this doctor has absolutely no bedside manner doesn’t listen to you rushes through the appointment. Does not give you The opportunity to ask questions.
I went to Dr. Portnoff at the recommendation of my PCP. Not only did I have to wait three months to see her, she was extremely curt and my time there felt like an interrogation, not a consult. I have family history of auto-immune diseases and she didn't even want to consider my symptoms, blamed everything on my fibromyalgia, and then told me she wouldn't treat me for that either. All of this was a big waste of time
I feel like there should be public awareness in the form of a public service warning of practices of Kelly Portnoff. I hesitate greatly to add the "Dr." to her name. She is completely inept as a doctor. There is no professionalism whatsoever. The Portland Clinic is doing a major disservice to its patients by employing her. I have to agree with many other comments on here about this doc. She should NOT be in this position. She is really rude and doesn't seem to truly care. Quite odd for an Md! She interrupted me multiple times and discounted what other physicians told me as well as the safety warnings of a specific medicine. On top of it, she didn't value my feedback on a supplement that appears to work. Don't even waste your time scheduling with her.
I am no longer going to Dr. Portnoff. I went to see her 3 times. The first time my daughter came with me and it was, just OK. The 2nd and 3rd time, I cried both times when I left. Portnoff's bedside manner was so course and terse that I would say she missed her calling as the lone person on a base in Antartica. She is horrible. I gave her 3 times because everyone has a bad day. I stopped going to my PCP because of this doctor. What a waste!
This doctor does not care about you, does not listen to you, and does not think you have the right to participate in your own health care decisions. She should find another job where she does not have to interact with human beings; it clearly just isn't her thing.
Horrible bedside manner and didn't listen to anything.
Dr Portnoff can be difficult to schedule, but is worth the wait. She puts a lot of effort into diagnosis and has helped me get a very complex diagnosis under control and really turned my life around. Thank you so much!
