I have a rather rare illness and Dr. John has helped me understand the prognosis and formulate a plan of treatment. She is collaborative, takes the time to listen and to educate, always with respect. I’ve been to many many specialists, and she is one that I trust implicitly and rank among the highest of her peers. I am so thankful for her expertise and her kindness.
She was very detailed about the procedure and recovery….and explained how it would all be tailored to my specific condition. I have full confidence to proceed with my surgery with Dr. John.
Found out I have severe arthritis ; hoping a non-surgical approach will help to avoid surgery, but I feel confident with her if surgery becomes necessary.
I saw Dr. John for an overuse injury from running. We tried several conservative treatments before resorting to surgery. Dr. John made sure I understood the steps and plan throughout the whole process. She had a great bedside manner and has always followed up promptly! I would definitely recommend Dr. John to anyone having foot/ankle problems!
It was nice that everything was explained in detail. The results of my MRI and xray were explained while she showed them to me. She explained what needed to be done to help fix the problem and why. The surgery was explained in detail as was the recovery period. It helps to know all of the details to help with decisions on when to have the surgery and what to do until then to help prevent further injury.
First of all Dr. John was on time getting me into the office rather than waiting in the outside chairs. Her associate Dr. Hassan conducted the interview for my second appointment with Dr John. He was friendly and it was clear that he had reviewed my first visit. Dr Hassan then went out and brought Dr John up to speed on the reason for my second visit. They both came back in and spent time with me to reach a mutually agreeable plan forward.
Dr John is always kind! She explains thoroughly what your condition is and shows the X-rays of my foot. Then she explains the plan she has to operate. Also she illustrated why I need to stop a medication that can impede my healing. That’s excellence in action. And last of all but not least, she told me what to get to relieve pain. Orthotics, a band for my foot and medication to rub on it. Excellence as a foot Surgeon. She’s performing my surgery March/April 2022 when I turn 65 yrs old. Thank you Dr John!!!
