Kayak Shed sets the bar for customer care. I contacted them today (on a Sat) because my order was shown on Amazon as “delivered” on Friday and I hadn’t received it. I exchanged emails with Kate & Jake who told me not to worry, that they would reship Monday. They were almost too nice and too apologetic about it. Turns out my order was delivered Saturday afternoon but I ordered the wrong size. Worst site ever. Sold me a Kayak on sale, promised three day delivery. Never emailed, called or anything to state they really did not have that model. They continued to sell it at the sales prices for a week after online, time in which I could have bought this from another site. Send me an email after I email them first, called my by another name and said sorry, someone else got my kayak and they have no more. Find someone else who has better customer service and an online site you can log into....
Worst customer service ever. Sold me a Kayak on sale that they did not even have. Never said until a word until I contacted them asking where the birthday gift was. Their reply had someone else's name on it. Truly embarrassing for today's day and age. Meanwhile, my "kayak" was on sale for a week after I ordered it. Time for some system upgrades????
