This is one of the only true paddling stores left on the West Coast. And the proof came in the fact that the owner still goes paddling and is an active member of the paddling community. This translates into carrying the right equipment and supporting the community of paddlers from the inside. The gear selection and knowledge from staff I found was unsurpassable and I look forward to returning to this the hotbed of Northwest paddling!

The Kayak Shed has the best customer service I've ever experienced from a store. They are super friendly and helpful but not pushy or in your face. Their boat demo policy is just astounding. After demoing a few boats over the years, I finally picked up my new Dagger Mamba Creeker last week for a great price.
