Converted to a spa enthusiast – I love this spa. It?s changed me from a spa ?dabbler? to a spa enthusiast. My daughter used to buy me gift certificates to my old spa to no avail. Will never book a spa party here-much less come here again! – My husband & I came here a few times which were great so I went ahead & booked "the day before my wedding party" here w/5 friends. We had a very mixed experience. Manis & pedis were fine but due to a holiday parade in the Loop, some of us were late & spa front desk was not accomodating to our party because another party was coming in soon. Wide variety of services and professional staff! – I went to Kaya because I received a coupon in the mail for 15% off your first service and was pretty impressed. Kaya has a very detailed website that explains the services very extensively so I barely even had any questions when I was booking. The receptionist I spoke to was very friendly and helpful and I was able to get in when I wanted to. I had a wax, a body treatment, and massage and all services were consistently wonderful. I will definitely return.
Go here if you are having a Spa Party!!!! – I have been to spa parties far and wide due to being in quite a few bridal parties in the last year and a half. This particular Spa Party I was in charge of booking and found Kaya on the internet written up as a great spa to go to for groups. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Excellent all around! – My sister recommended Kaya to me since she lives in the West Loop neighborhood (she happens to be a regular there), and my, what a hidden treasure this place is. The front desk is fantastic to start off with, and I was transported to the locker toom where they had me change into a cozy robe and slippers and then led me to complete relaxation in the "quiet room". Truly Awful – Problems occurred just walking in the door. I had a friend recommend Kaya and decided to try it out. The receptionist was overtly sweet until I asked about pricing upon which there was a brief condecending converstation about coming into a spa if I was concerned about spending money. I have more than enough money to spend, I just dont like wasting it on incompetance. A Wonderful and Euphoric Atmosphere – I was searching for a Spa that offered various Skincare Treatment Services, and I happened to find Kaya's. Loved It! – W Hotel concierge referred me to Kaya and even made my appointment for me. As soon as I enterd the door I felt at peace. Everyone was lovely and the services were superb! I even ended up just hanging out for a while after my services just sipping tea, playing on the internet and catching up on my magazine reading! I just didn't want to leave, and no one made me feel rushed to get out. Next time I am back in Chicago I will set a day aside just for Kaya Day Spa, my new friend!
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. – I got a gift certificate for a massage, mani, pedi- couldn't book them together so had to go separate days. Massage was generic- I've had much better people in tune with my muscle tension. Pedi was cut short about 10 minutes (should have been an hour).
