Best Spa-Hands Down! – My best-ever Massage and Facial was at Kaya. I also got my hair cut there last week last minute because I wanted to try a new stylist, and it was great too! I feel like I have found a one-stop place for all of my pampering needs! And they have a parking lot, so I that makes for an even better experience. I try to avoid Saturdays because it is really busy, but during the week and even Sundays are super low key and relaxing. Try this place if you haven't already, it's great.....
Superb experience from beginning to end! – I was recommended to Kaya by a coworker and I will definitely be coming back. The service is unpretentious, the space is ultra-relaxed, and the service providers and staff are gracious and seem genuinely happy to be there. I read a former review about how the staff turnover is high, and this is obviously untrue, because the receptionist, esthetician, and nail tech that I saw have all been on staff since the day the business opened, which was almost 4 years ago! Go to Kaya=getting ripped off! – Go to kaya day spa and get ripped off! Thats what will happen to you! There are better options in this city to get your nails, waxing, skin and massage services done at. Honestly, don't waste your time and money here! The services are average, there's a high technician turnover rate (that should be telling us something), and the management is HORRIBLE!!!!
Careless Staff = Ruined Birthday!!! – I arranged for my fiance to take a half day spa package for her birthday. When she arrived, the staff told her that they had her scheduled the following week!! First they told my fiance that 'I' must have scheduled it that way (as if I wouldn't have remembered her birthday) but when I called to tell them that I had a document confirming that it was on that day, they only then became apologetic. A Diamond in the Rough – on several friends recommendations as "the best day spa in the city", i was curious to see if the the place was really that good. I figured i'd have a massage and a facial. After finding kaya, i parked in their large parking lot, and checked in upstairs at the desk. The reception was courteous and friendly. afetr i was given a gown and slippers, i rested in the mens quiet room. the water wall was nice and relaxing. i was then taken to the facial room and had my first srvice. she talked me through it.... read more
holiday fun – I organized our company holiday party here and everyone was very happy! They made the entire process easy and quick. There were 20 of us and we all had 2 services, with food and drinks in between. Yeah, we paid a party fee, but we were stress free, they set everything up and cleaned it up for us, all we had to do was enjoy! We will definitely have our party here next year and a bunch of us will be coming back on our own.
Horrible Pre-Wedding Spa Day Party – I never submit reviews, but felt the need to warn other brides on this spa before being disappointed. Kaya charges a 10% service fee onto EACH spa service for having a spa party - I was told the fee covers the setup of food - which is a folding table, plates, silverware and glassware - that's it. loved it! – first or all the place is beautiful, relaxing and it even smells amazing! the staff is surprisingly sweet, knowledgeable and thoughtful. not to mention the services were unbevlievable and they use the best products! i will definitely be back!!!
mediocre value - very average service – Average services, mediocre decor/lounge ... my mother and I came for my birthday. Although the services were average/ok, I thought it was rather overpriced for what we were getting. However, the staff was very friendly, accommodating, and welcomed us with a good standard spa setup (robes, sandals, locker) ... this went a long way considering that the services were a borderline disappointment.
