Last 2 times I had them change my oil, I had to take it back for an oil leak from the drain plug. This last time I found the oul drain plug had been tampered with, ( on purpose or just not being careful with their work). I finally bought a new plug and installed it myself. leak fixed. I wont be using this store again.
RecommendedI needed last minute installation. The employees were polite and friendly. Fast service with a comfortable waiting area.
I just drove by my Kaufmann Tire on Depot Drive in Hiram, and saw they are now Mavis. I called to see if they had the same helpful staff as Was working for Kaufmann, and would still fix any flat for free. The guy who answered the phone said he was new and didn't know anything about the staff. He also said they do NOT fix any flat free; tire must be under warranty. He was not at all friendly. I'll never step foot in this store.
Worst customer service ever!!!!! The manager was rude and refused to give any name or number of someone I could speak to! Will definitely not be back!

Have been using Kauffman for 4years when I brought my car in last time they had no record said they had a new computer system Told me it would be maybe 3 or 4 hours for an oil change I am done with them . Poor management they spend millions on advertising but 0 for training their employees.
I have been using Kauffman for almost 5 years. I would have never taken my vehicle anywhere else until recently. Over the past few months I have seen the knowledgeable and friendly customer service dwindle to non existence. Workers are rude and the sales pressure is beyond unlikable. The fast/quality service, personable staff was always a plus on top of the knowledgeable and pressure-free appointments. Had an appointment to check a tire and have oil changed . Waited over an hour for car to be taken back. Didn’t say they were running behind at all until car was done. Service not the same as in the past.
Kauffman has really gone down hill in service over the last few years. Had my Honda checked out there yesterday and was told I needed front struts and a belt. Now this is fine because i do have a lot of miles on the car but to try and charge 120.00 (60.00 belt/60.00 labor) to put a belt on which takes about 10-15 mins. Then they wanted around 750 for front struts. I'm not a expert mechanic but I you tubed it and got prices for struts and realized I could do it for about 250 300.
