not the best I've been around to many of the NoVA bridal boutiques. Katherine's has a limited collection, which includes some very nice dresses, but I didn't feel at ease there. I arrived on time for my appointment and still had to wait for a trunk show to be over so I can try on dresses. They only have 2 fitting rooms, so you have to wait. I tried on about 5 dresses, 2 of which are from their "private collection". Don't bother making an appointment Don't waste your time! I arrived for my 12:00 appointment on time, after a long wait a sales women finally spoke to me. After answering questions regarding my budget, she assumed I would not pay more than 3K for a dress. She then told me that the fitting rooms were full and I would have to wait..... In the mean time she did not look threw any dresses with my mom and I. After a 30 min we walked out. Try Hitched in Georgetown. Worth your time and money. I found Kristen helpful.
Don't waste your time with this one! Small store with even smaller parking lot. Definitely need an appt. Might have to park at the shopping center across the street and walk. First lady was helpful. Other lady barged in when I was trying dresses on and asked "if i was done already". I had only been there 10 minutes. Do not go here The ladies who work here are like a pack of wolves. They push you into a dress you don't want, the store and parking lot are crammed full, and they'll sucker you out of every penny you have. They tried to scam my fiance into paying more than she needed to - and they didn't bat an eye about it. Scamming someone who is paying for a wedding is LOW and DIRTY. save yourself the trouble The attendant I worked with at Katherine's Bridal was just horrendous. Apparently it's the norm to persuade brides-to-be into trying on dresses well out of their price range. Not only did my attendant question the low value of my price range, but she also ignored it, handing me dresses we both knew I couldn't afford. rudeness! Do not go to Katherine's if you are looking for a pleasant, enjoyable experience. I started by working with Katherine who was very nice and appeared to be helpful. She, without telling me, turned me over to one of the other ladies (who did not introduce herself so, I don't know her name). She was rude and pushy. Katherine's is amazing! I went to Katherine's to look for my wedding dress. I made an appointment on a saturday, and had a very low budget (less than $1500). From the moment i walked in, Kathy and her salespeople were incredibly helpful. They first asked me what style I had in mind, and when i showed them a dress i loved on the internet, they immediately pulled 5-8 dresses that were similar, and were within my budget. DON'T BUY HERE ITS A NIGHTMARE PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE. I ordered a bridesmaids dress in April and it was suppossed to be shipped to me by the middle of july. The wedding is august 28th so I thought this would be plenty of time.
