Always fabulous. Best sushi in Houston. The Omakase is amazing, but so is the standard menu.
Probably the freshest fish I've ever had at a sushi place
Food is excellent. Reservation for 8 30, table was ready 35 minutes later... wasn't offered a drink for the inconvenience just a sorry. Service is ok, never got our sparkling water and Waitress ordered one sushi too much. Her reaction was very strange, she offered to take the plate back and remove the sushi. That's the first time I've seen that and told her that sounds weird and no, and told her to just leave the sushi. Obviously was charged for that extra Sushi. Upscale for sure. Usually a bit noisy for my taste. Fish raw or cooked is always the best and the presentation is awesome. Staff is quite knowledgeable and helpful. One of the very best Japanese restaurants in H-Town.
I had the spicy soy ramen and it was delicious. They also have a very good happy hours menu.
Our server was Steve Mok, since it was my first time there, my friend and I took suggestions. He was a vegetarian and we saw online that there were basically only 3 veggie dishes. When we got there, Steve picked some out and recommended others that we missed. My friend liked everything, he was amazed by the flavors.
