If you are someone that appreciates sushi in its finest form, then this is your place. If Houston had a Michelin guide, this would be one of its recipients. I've traveled the world and the sushi rice here is one to beat. There's a reason why this restaurant is busy all the time. Innovative, but not over the top. A perfect balance of creativity and simplicity. Truly a Houston Gem. Hands down the best Japanese restaurant in Houston and in my book.

My first time here and it was so delicious. The Miso Lobster Mac & Cheese was my favorite of the night! And the staff and management were great in recommendations and service!!!!
Kata Robata serves some of the best sushi in Houston. And the service is excellent even when they're so busy on a Saturday night. I've never had a bad meal or a bad experience here. Specifically, Cory is an excellent server. He's attentive, engaging, knowledgeable, and gives great recommendations.
