Dr. Alavi treated my colon cancer 10 years ago. He knew I was scared to death. Today had a five year surveillance and although my feelings were crazy seeing him made it all okay. Still cancer free!!!
Very good surgeon. Explained everything that would happen and was very responsive.
Dr. Alavi has a good bedside manner and explains things well. He truly knows what he’s doing, what he’s talking about, and is an excellent surgeon.
Very happy with dr. alavi. He did my original end ileostomy/colon removal due to bad UC and gave me my life back. Just had my step 2/3 j pouch creation and rectum removal, and although it was a tough surgery, I am very grateful to have it done by a surgeon with such skill and expertise in these types of surgeries. Hoping he is my surgeon for my final step, and hospitals should be grateful to have him and his team on staff. Highly recconrnd him for any type of ileostomy/j pouch prosedures.

HE SAVED MY LIFE, AS MY RECTUM HAD A LARGE MASS OF CANCER CELLS. HE USED A TA/TME PROCEDURE AND WAS ABLE TO REMOVE ALL THE CANCER WITHOUT ME HAVING TO UNDERGO CEMO OR RADIATION TREATMENT. I HAVE BEEN CANCER FREE NOW FOR ALMOST 5 YEARS AND AM CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN A STUDY UNDER HIS CARE. HE IS AN ASSET TO THE MEDICAL FIELD AND ANY HOSPITAL SHOULD BE GREATFUL FOR A SURGEON OF HIS EXPERTISE.
