Dr. Karen Zaghiyan gave me a new lease on life. When a colonoscopy found a suspicious mass (a tubularvillous adenoma) in my sigmoid colon, I researched colorectal doctors and found Dr. Z -- along with glowing reviews. I'm so glad I did. From the consult to the surgery, I felt confident that I was in good hands. The morning after my surgery, she came by during rounds to tell me that the news was good; they had removed my sigmoid colon and there was no spread beyond the colon wall -- my lymph nodes were clear. Dr. Zaghiyan is a fantastic surgeon. She has cared for my husband and I over the last sever al years and I have referred many friends and family to her practice. She not only is a skilled surgeon, she is a kind and thoughtful doctor who always makes sure your questions are answered. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Dr. Zaghiyan is a blessing. She’s a wonderful doctor that will explain everything and answer any questions. Wonderful bedside manner and truly cares for her patients. I am thankful to have found such an amazing doctor.
OUTSTANDING Surgeon. Hands down the best surgeon I have ever had. I don't know why it seems the best surgeons have the worst bedside manners, really full of themselves but this was NOT the case with Dr Zaghiyan. She explained everything in detail. She did everything in her power to make sure I didn't need to have a major surgery. Through her decisions, I was able to have arthroscopic surgery. I recommend her to everyone I know facing a colon issue.
Dr. Zaghiyan completed my surgeries which I am thankful for. However, there were multiple complications after surgery which could have been avoided. Her office staff (especially Karen in billing) were the absolute worst people in healthcare i’ve ever encountered. Rude, unhelpful, and dismissive during a hard period of my life. Would never recommend this team to anyone.
I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. In fact, if you don't want to waste your time and money - stay away. I had researched her for my brother who went to her in excruciating pain. She not only didn't recommend an effective solution or explain to him exactly what the problem was, but, when he went back to her because of the continued pain, the office charged him more for the follow up. Dr Z saved my life! Great bedside manor. Very professional, answered all my questions fully. Best doctor I have ever had and really took the time to meet my needs .
I would absolutely recommend Dr Zaghiyan to my Family & Friends. She is a very competent Physician and has helped me tremendously. I can't thank her enough. Dr. is very trustworthy and smart.
