I can only say I have not seen this therapist but briefly talked on the phone as a referral from Aetna.Karen stated that she would like a formal discharge notice from my current therapist for me to see her and wanted permission to talk to her.I found this to be unethical and the situation would be awkward as well as very uncomfortable for me,I decided to see someone with a diffrent point of view who understands. I would not recommend seeing someone who states they need to talk to someone you choose to move on from.
