I liked the doctor but the staff seemed aggressively competitive. Don't know what's going on there... Also tough to get a hold of someone for a question and the staff didn't bother to explain anything about what to expect for scheduling surgery.

Dr. K is great but trying to get a hold of someone on the phone is near impossible and no option for other. No one is available just leave your number and "I"ll get back to you at "MY" convenience". That's a poor and arrogant attitude. I even tried the new patient number and was on hold for more than 15 minutes before I just hung up.
ONLY IN IT FOR THE MONEY.......DOESN'T KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING> VERY FAST TO SCHEDULE EVERYONE FOR SURGERY. GET A SECOND OPINION >>>>>RUN!!!!!!!!
Before seeing Dr. Kaplan, I was diagnosed with severe lumbar spinal stenosis, used a cane, and was on medications. At my first appointment, he evaluated me and explained in "english" what was was wrong and what needed to be done and scheduled me for surgery. He had a great bedside manner and helped calm me as I went into sedation from anesthesia. Before I knew it I was awake and the surgery went better than expected. Now I can walk without a cane and don't need medication. Thank You Dr. Kaplan!
Absolutely gave me my life back. I have herniated discs in my neck and lower back for almost 30 years. I was ok with my neck after 10 years as long as no one leaned on my shoulders. After a car accident in Aug 2014, I was in pain with my neck and lower back. In September of 2016, when I could no longer walk without a cane and only a very short distance, Dr. Kaplan said it was time to do cervical spine surgery. On September 29th 2016, Dr. Kapan did a 100% successful surgery. I am pain free.
Dr Kaplan was on of the best surgeons i have ever met. His professionalism is top notch.. I would highly recommend his to anyone.. He explains everything down to the last minute detail... I am so glad i had him for a surgeon...
Dr Kaplan and his assistance Ryan were most professional in identifying the Sciatic Nerve Problem and performing the surgery to relieve the condition. Very direct during office visit(s) and quite personable. However, he is a very busy doctor but knows what to do and how to do it. Very successful surgery of L-4 & L-5. Would recommend Dr Kaplan to any of our friends. Was recommended to wife by Chiropractic Doctor who mentioned he was a quite busy doctor but we never experienced long waits.
