I have several back surgeries l3-4 and c-3-4. Can say I am in chronic pain and distress. The last 12 months since my last surgery I have been dealing with t8-12 pain along with the other areas. I saw Dr Kaplan and he immediately reviewed, should compassion and empathy to my overall back problems. He took the ball and scheduled several appointments look further into my back pain. I will update post.
I went to see Dr. Kaplin for an appointment. He was extremely professional and caring and reviewed MRI with me personally and explained my situation to the fullest. I am highly recommend Dr. Kaplin to anyone patient or anyone with neck and back problems and pain. His staff are excellent and amazing. Thank Dr. Kaplin & Staff for making me feel at home, being heard and relaxed. You all are awesome! 100 % great facility’s!!!!
Rudest doctor I've ever gone to, no manners, ignore your questions
I had to have 2 surgerys back to back excuse the pun. 5/25 and 5/27/2010. I can't begin to express the pain I was in and Dr Kaplan and his staff took all that away. After he saw my L-spine, he knew it was time to do something. MRI and CT didn't do my horror justice. I no longer live in Las Vegas,NV. but I can't say enough how happy I am that he was my doctor.
My mothers surgery with him was late than rushed and follow up was not thorough at all. She is in the hospital being tested for spinal meningitis 4 weeks after her surgery

This doctor is a great neurosurgeon! I had severe Stenosis in my spine at L2, L3, L4, & L5. I had extreme pain & Sciatica! I checked in and had surgery on a Thursday. I was released Saturday with 21 staples in my back. I just had them removed this past Friday and I have virtually no nerve pain! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Stuart Kaplan! BTW, his staff and office are also Class A!
Getting in for pre-surgery, during the height of COVID, was quite easy. He explained what needed to be done and, when COVID scheduling threatened to push the surgery too far out, he made helpful accommodations. The surgery itself seems successful and I am recovering well, albeit on a longer, more realistic timetable than originally laid out. The main issues are after care.
