My son was injured in his leg recently and I was referred to Dr. Kapila. I must say this is one of the best Orthopedic doctors that I have every come across. I really appreciate the time and mannerism that he showed my son and I . My son now is healed and very pleased. From start to finish this Dr. is just 5 star. His office staff are warm and inviting... Joann will set you up with your insurance and has constant communication throughout the entire process. HORRIBLE DOCTOR!!, he will be better dealing with cement or rocks, he does not have any compassion for your pain and his assistant manager only wants to take all your money. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PAIN, go some where else, the worse of the drs is better than this one.!
The office policy is to triple book appointments for every 15 minutes. Thus, you will never be seen on time. You will always have to wait. I have a broken arm, thumb and back. I waited over two hours and had to leave before seeing the doctor due to my pain. There are many board certified orthopedists that do not triple book appointments. Why is the patients time and pain of no concern to this physician?
Dr Kapila is an amazing surgeon. He repaired a badly shattered elbow making it possible for me to gain use of my arm He is intellegent kind patient and understanding His office staff is efficient friendly and kind His x Ray tech is particularly outstanding
Dr. Kapila is a above average Dr. in my opinion, you can tell he is an extremely intelligent and talented surgeon just by talking to him. He took a bad and painful break that I had and put things back together. I can't say enough about his staff either, all very nice, attentive and accommodating to the highest levels. His office manager (Joanie) is beyond careing and does everything possible to make the surgery process comfortable. His physical therapist (Dee) is also very talented and dedicated
All caps means yelling and angry, WAITED FOR DR. KAPILA FOR WELL OVER 3 HOURS! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHOULD NOT BE SCHEDULING SURGERIES THE SAME TIME HE IS TO BE SEEING PATIENTS! I WILL NOT BE RETURNING AFTER HE DID HIS BEST TO SET ME UP FOR FAILURE! I WOULD ALLOW A CAT TO BE SEEN BY HIM!
His idea of a Fibia spiral fracture one week out from injury was an air splint! After the displaced fracture was reduced he immediately preached surgery, once he realized that surgery was off the table, he said here's an air splint, you should walk around and exercise the foot. Set up so that surgery would be the only option. After consulting several other orthopedic surgeons and them seeing both the xray and the notes of Dr. Kapila, i was told to find another physician asap and i did! Run!
