Pretty nice place. Staff member up front Megan (redhead with glasses) was super helpful and nice. I personally feel the dogs should be paired up in those big kennels. Socialization is important and they seemed very isolated. I guess there's a lot of adoptable dogs you can only view online because they're in the back and public isn't allowed. Kinda weird.
I loved the workers and especially loved the way they took great care of dogs. Strongly recommend adopting !
We adopted our dog Mila in August and she had heartworms. We were given pills for her and were told to come back when the pills were gone so she could be tested and possibly put on a stronger treatment. We returned when the pills were gone and told a couple employees why we were there. Someone later came to us saying there was nothing they could do at the moment and that they would call us 30 days after the day we adopted her. We got our little Maizey there.. She is our new baby...
We were interested in a Border Collie we saw on the Kansas human society and went to look at him right away. We fell in love when he plopped right into our laps, and into our hearts. We promptly adopted Lokie (he was named Thor) we absolutely love him. He has been such a great addition to our family! Thank you for our wonderful guy! If we adopt any more dogs we will come here!
