RecommendedAdopted my newest baby there last week, Pepper is a 8 week old kitten. I'm fairly new to the area and was very impressed with them. Love that they have rooms setup so you can spend time with animals. That allows one on one time before choosing the right baby for your family.
I adopted my girl Roxie from KHS in September of 2012. She’s been the absolute best girl from the minute she came home. She lost an eye to glaucoma in 2016 but it hasn’t slowed her down for a minute. Thank you KHS for allowing me to adopt my very best friend.
I was able to adopt a sweet young dog who immediately fit into my family like a dream. I’m always excited to see so many animals come in and go so quickly because they find their forever homes ☺️

Great place to adopt a new family member! I went in with my toddler, looking for a new addition to our family. I made it clear to the staff that I needed a dog that would be great with my toddler. My fur baby was the first and only dog we saw and fell instantly in love. He handles my rambunctious child very well. Staff did a wonderful job placing us with an incredible dog. 8 months so far!
They are awesome and have improved so much over the past few years. This should always be the first place to go to get a new pet. Thank you!!!
