Dr. Rizvi is quite simply the best!!! He genuinely cares for his patients and wants the best for them.
I hadn't seen a cardioligist in 5+ years and Dr. Makkena made it seemless. Follow up in a month for a stress test. Looking forward to working with Dr. Makkena and his staff.

2nd time filling this out. Everything was great. We think the world of Dr Makkena and have recommended friends to him.
I have been a patient of Dr. Risvi since 2014. My cardiologist decided that I was at a big enough risk of having another heart attack, that an ICD was a good course of action. I still have about two years of battery life left and will probably get a replacement unit when the batteries need to be replaced. Dr. Risvi told me there are newer units that have a third lead which will offer better control of my heart.

My experience at Dr. Makkena's office was excellent in all respects. Dr. Makkena is personable, friendly, and thorough. His staff is commendable. Cinthia at check-in made the process simple and quick. Tiffany and Alicia are skilled, efficient and friendly and Monica at check out was kind and accommodating, making sure that my next appointment was on a date and time suitable to my schedule. This office runs like a well oiled machine, they are simply the best!
