have visited twice I live in the area and twice I went into the store, looking for diamond ear rings and twice I got the same rude, dismissive sales clerk. Appeared to be an unhappy employee. I took my $3500.00 dollars and spent elsewhere. I have since heard that they are known in the community to not have the high business scruples so glad I gave my business and money to another local store.
They gave me my heart My husband designed my engagement ring himself. He took his design into Kaminski's and they created the perfect ring. My husband had designed a yellow gold setting with a heart diamond and two small amethyst on either side of the diamond. If it were not for Kaminski's my husband could not have given me my beautiful engagement ring!! We also bought our wedding bands at Kaminski. We loved the whole Kaminski experience!!
Best experience I've ever had... My husband and I have been looking to upgrade my wedding set for about six months now and we were exaughted from feeling hasseled by every jewelry store we went to. It seems like every place we went to around the Marietta/Atlanta area pressured us to buy by trying to attract us to deals we just could not turn down! Buyer beware I purchased a pendant as a valentines day gift for my wife and was concerned that the chain would not fit. I asked the clerk several times if I could bring the item back and get a larger chain and was told it would be no problem. The chain was too short and when we went back to the store we where told (by the same cerk I purchased from) that that chain was a promotional chain and that we could buy a longer one for $75.00 and would have to pay that anywhere. She was very dismissive, I will never shop there again.
"Always a good experience" I'm a chiropractor in Florida. Grew up in Marietta and graduated from life College. I was recently back in town and brought a beautiful pair of 2 carat diamond earrings for my wife from Kaminski Jewelry. I always come back and shop at Kaminki's. Worth a look I think Kaminski's is worth a look if you are in need of jewelry. I have shopped here several times, but the prices always seemed high for the quality of the pieces. I never seemed to find classic pieces that appealed to me although they did have a large selection. The staff was friendly and helpful, but I had just had better luck other places.
Wonderful Store I love Kaminski's. They have the most courteous sales staff and the prices are much cheaper then the mall stores. I went in with a picture of the style of ring I wanted and they made it in a week using my diamonds and it is perfect. I would recommend them to everyone. Great Jewelers!
Know Your Prices Know your prices, so you will know if you are getting a good deal here or not. Prices were high on the rings that we were considering for our wedding. I became aware of just how much markup there was on some items when we looked at a catalog to see about ordering the right size ring. They were offering 40% off, but it still gave them a significant profit which I wasn't willing to pay. Maybe things changed when they changed the name from Jewelry to Diamond Brokers. too big for their britches They are hawking jewelry with too much attitude by the salespeople. They prices have gone sky high in the last five years and they have tried to cater to a different clientel and I guess they don't remember the people that helped them build their business. The repair shop used to be reasonable and helpful. Not so much these days. Oh well, another neighborhood shop that succumbed to the theory that the customer no longer counts.
